What’s Happening in the Electricity Market

The Energy Market Authority (EMA) has announced that from April 2018, under a soft launch of the OEM, all residents in Jurong (those with postal codes starting 60, 61, 62, 63 and 64) will be able to buy electricity from EMA appointed electricity retailers.

The OEM will be extended to all Singapore households in the second half of 2018, giving 1.3 million consumers the benefit of greater choice and flexibility and at competitive prices.
